I was really happy to find out that there were real actual usable pockets in the front instead of the fake pockets that they always put on women’s pants. However, the pockets in the back are fake. Cant win ‘um all, I guess!The pants are very stretchy, so they’ll give a very slimming fit with a tighter appearance. However, you can expect to still be very comfortable in these pants due to them being so stretchy. I’m about 5’7” or 5’8” and about 180 pounds and purchased a size XL, and I’d say they were a good fit and perfect length. Also, I carry most of my weight in my hips, butt, and thighs, and usually I feel like my hips look just too big, but these pants really gave a nice and natural slimming affect (or effect? Ahhhh I’m always forgetting the difference!) for me and my body type.Also I love that these pants have belt loops! these pants look amazing with a nice tucked in blouse or sweater with a cute belt. Just keep in mind that the belt can’t be too wildly thick because the belt loops are still just a tad bit smaller than average.There’s one con with these pants though, and it’s that they are very susceptible to wrinkles. If they come out wrinkly from the dryer, that’s really not a big issue because once you put them on, they’ll stretch around you so nicely that the pants won’t have wrinkles anymore. The issue is that once you’ve been wearing them all day or for a couple of hours, they’ll start to wrinkle and crease around the knees and crotch area. The pictures I’m sharing is after I’ve worn the pants all day at work, so you can see what I mean about the wrinkles. I find this to be a common problem with a lot of pants and honestly these pants are not as bad about it as some others because some other pants can start to wrinkle up so bad around the crotch area that they start to give the appearance of a camel toe, but these don’t ever get that bad. There’s an easy solution for you though if you’re worried about this happening, just buy them in black. The black won’t show the wrinkles like the colored pants. I’m probably going to buy a pair in black too because these really would be the perfect pair of just plain professional black pants to have around. However, I still really love the green pair that I purchased even despite the wrinkles, and I will continue to wear them! These pants are still so super flattering, and that’s why I just couldn’t take a star off for the wrinkles.**UPDATE**So I did end up buying the black pair of these really soon after I had purchased the green pair. Both of these pants have become my absolute favorite professional pants to wear. I literally wear the black pair almost once a week because they’re just such an easy professional go-to and go with almost everything. The vibrant coloring for both pants has never faded. However, I’m coming back to deduct a star because I have had to restitch all the belt loops on both pants. The stitching quality on these pants is downright terrible. For that, these pants should at least be cheaper because if we are all going to have to spend an hour restitching these pants then we all deserve a serious discount for them. Now, maybe it’s just because I have a bigger butt and hips, and I’m always having to pull up my pants by the belt loops, but still, I don’t have to restitch the belt loops on my other pants. Also, I’ve noticed that the stitched seam that goes down the butt looks like it’s starting to loosen and might eventually break or rip soon. I really hope that doesn’t happen because I love these pants so much. They’re so comfortable and such a great fit. I’ve honestly been debating buying more pants in different colors, but I haven’t yet because I don’t know if it’s worth it paying like $26 + having to restitch the belt loops again & the pants may not even last a whole year as I’m worried about with my black pair. Ugh, again, I can’t express enough how much I love these pants and how they look, but I hate that the quality is greatly lacking with the stitching so purchase at your own risk knowing you’ll have to re-sew them ):These trousers are super comfortable and look great, though the ones I recieved are more of a straight leg than a skinny leg. I usually have trouble finding trousers that go all the way down to my ankles, and yet these ones fit in the waist AND the thighs AND they go all the way to my ankles. Plus, the front pockets are just big enough for my phone (a samsung galaxy s8+, a big honker of a phone) and the stretch of the fabric is good enough to allow me to do pretty much anything other than squatting (I tried squatting and felt a little pull at the seam on the seat of the pants, and suspect that there may now be a loose thread there). I've sent a link to these trousers to several people who are also looking for nice dress pants, and have added several other colors to my cart.When I looked through the photos the reviewers posted, I saw back pockets on the olive colored pants, and mistakenly assumed the pinstripe pants would have them as well. Not a deal breaker but definitely makes it appear more of a legging and less of an office pant. The material is not like yoga pant, it’s more of that cheap suit feel but is cool enough for summer still. They’re also made in the USA. Overall, different than I expected, but they’re good and simple full length ankle pinstripe pants that I can wear in the heat for a really good price. Would buy again in another color.Update - after wearing for a few hours, they stretch out and do not stay up. I washed them and dried them so they would shrink a little and they did, but there is nothing keeping them up. Maybe if you’re into suspenders. Again, this is for pinstripe, which seems to be a different construction and fabric than the other ones.Awesome. I loved them so much , l ordered another pair in a different pattern and color.Had to return and order the next size smaller. But they're beautiful and comfortable.
