The chair arrived in perfect condition with all parts, assembly would have been easier with an extra set of hands. The numbered instructions were easy to follow, the chair assembled quickly, All parts were in sealed plastic bags except the gas piston which was in a box.The right/left arms anchor the back and seat to form one unit. Seating adjustments are standard, lock/unlock to lean back, raise/lower. A contact information sheet was included for replacement parts. The Eco Leather has a dull sheen is soft and comfortable. A very nice home/office chair.UPDATE - (06/14/2013), the chair has been in use for about 1 week and remains very comfortable. The contour and padding of the back and seat is excellent, firm but not too firm, providing excellent lumbar support. Tilt tension can be adjusted via a knob under the chair. At its lowest level the chair fits under the desk stopping at the chair arms. Sitting in the chair for many hours is not be a problem.
