Shipment was great and fast. Actually about 10 days early...That's all of the good news...1.) Ordered the Walnut colored shelf, got the Cordoba colored which is much lighter. Will just have to paint it darker later which will require quite a bit of work since it is basically trying to paint over shelf paper. The reason for not returning? We just moved into a new house and I would prefer to have those knick-knack boxes unpacked in the living room as fast as possible.2.) Not as sturdy as I would have liked but that is on me. It did come with 2 wall mounting brackets so that will help a little if you can use them.3.) Description States "It is manufactured from environmental friendly, high-grade manufactured wood (comply with E1 Standard) with matte pure white finish, sharp edges and 2 white feet. It is particle for everyday use and easy to clean with damp cloth. " This is Particle board with a wall paper finish that isn't white at all... Not sure how a shelf would have 2 feet and not 4 but hey, the fine print is important. And the misplacement of the word "Particle" instead of what they intended to write as "Practical". Maybe that is where they were trying to say that all the mumbo-jumbo before was a new English language cryptic way of identifying Particle Board. Not to mention that Walnut would not be a matte pure white finish4.)This whole unit is put together with several 3 inch screws that a few were stripped out with the drill when putting it together so do not plan on trying to move this piece from one home to the other without it being broken or the finish looking like hell.5.) When unpackaged, there was the main base piece smashed in one corner but that was able to be hidden by making sure that smashed area was assembled with it in the back so its not too noticeable.6.) There are no legs with this so it will sit directly on whatever surface that is there. does not make it easy for cleaning around it as it does have sharp corners. VERY SHARP CORNERS...And I am very tolerant of allot of things so I'm giving it 3 stars anywaysIt took us a couple hours to put together- a couple tricky “ what’s the front... what’s the top?” Issues- it looks like it doesn’t matter til you go to the next piece or 2 pieces later and see what’s messed up. So be patient with yourself! Give yourself time and a helper to make this easier. It’s sturdy and looks nice and fun/interesting to look at.This bookshelf is awesome! I put it together by myself and it took roughly 2.5 hours.I was really worried when I recieved the package because it looked as if it has been opened and the box was beat to hell. However when I opened it all up, nothing was broken or scratched. Good quality for the money!The advertising pictures are misleading. It is smaller than pictured and the center pieces do not fit together or line up well.Good quality and looks great. Have to follow instructions and put together piece by piece. We ordered black and the tabs to cover the screw holes didn't stay on all very well. But overall a good product.So cheap looking not worth the price @ all .. wouldn’t line up right 2 put together... just not worth it ?‍♀️Used in my son’s room for various items. Looks nice.. easy to put together. Didn’t like the cheap wood colored stickers to cover the screwsGreat product but arrived damaged.There were a fair number of scratches and a chunk taken out of the wood; picture attached.I went ahead and built it as it didn't seem to be in a position that would impact the integrity of the unit.Very stable, just a shame it's damaged.This is the most beautiful unique piece of furniture I have had. It was great fun to build even at my age. Thank you. I would definitely recommend this bookcase/shelving unit. X
