I've tested several automotive drinking/eating platforms over the last few weeks, and this is a difficult one to review. As a table for a rear passenger, clipped over the front headrest supports, there are better products out there (see my other reviews). This is just too flimsy to be a practical option, especially if you want it to hold a hot drink. As an 'over the steering wheel' product for a driver, it's similarly impractical - too flimsy to support a hot drink, and the metal struts across the centre of the steering wheel can go straight over the horn control in some vehicles (especially Land Rovers), so any substantial weight on the table and you'll inadvertently activate the horn. Not good at a motorway service station. However, for the front seat passenger, it works surprisingly well, if your vehicle has a 'lip' above the glove box over which you can attach this. It works well on both a Discovery 1 (which has a grab bar for the front passenger) and the Discovery 3 (which has a lip above the glove box). If adjusted correctly, the table then sits on the lap of the front passenger, thus avoiding the stability/weight problem I mentioned above for rear passengers.
